More About Me

How did I get here!

I made my way west after being born in New Brunswick, Canada. My childhood played out in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain range in Helena, Montana. Most of those carefree days were spent around horses and the great outdoors. I attended the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana earning a degree in Economics with a minor in skiing and mountain bike riding. Somewhere along the way I managed to graduate from Culinary School as well. In 1990 I migrated further west to Spokane and am now very fortunate to be able to call Spokane home. While in Spokane for the past twenty years I spent time working in Washington's booming wine industry at both the retail and the wholesale level. I am passionate about wine and food and enjoy exploring Spokane's diverse restaurant scene. Prior to becoming a real estate professional, I was in the hospitality industry at one of Spokane's premier restaurants, Luna. I have a strong customer service background and am happy to bring that with me to the real estate industry. In the past few years I have added golf and motorcycles to the list of activities that I enjoy in my spare time.

Where has the time gone?

It has been quite a learning curve and a very rewarding journey since I began in 2006. Now that I have over 300 transactions under my belt, it's time to take a look back and see where I've been, where I'm going and how I plan to get there. Working for Windermere was, without a doubt, the most important decision I made as I started this journey. Windermere is a premier real estate company that shares my interest in the client having a positive and memorable experience. With state of the art training, the most advanced tools and a mentoring management style, all the ingredients for success have been laid before me. I picked up those tools in the beginning of 2006 and continue to hone them. The accomplishment I am most proud of came in 2007. That year, my fellow agents voted me "Most Inspirational Sales Associate." Although I continue to rank high in terms of yearly dollar volume in both my office and against other agents in the local MLS, this award means the most to me. To the end of my name, on my business card, I have added a few professional designations (CNE - Certified Negotiating Expert & SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist) through continuing education and I will persist in that regard throughout my real estate career.

Where am I going?

I will continue to sharpen my skill set. I believe firmly in education and technology. With the realization that nothing in life worth having comes easy, it's really time to roll up the sleeves, do the extra work that it takes to set myself apart and enjoy the rest of the journey, I am ready!! So far, the journey has been exciting and rewarding, I have every reason to believe it will only get better.
